I’m a HUGE Carrie Underwood fan and I love everything she does- her music, her clothes for her Calia by Carrie line, and now this book.
It starts off raw with a story of who she is and how she came to be who she is, her health and food struggles & then it’s on to her tips, her story, her food hacks, workout regime, a glimpse of her workout trailer, her suggested equipment (it’s not much), and how she works out and stays healthy on the road. There are recipes and workouts! And throughout you’ll find boxes with short inputs written by her nutritionist & fitness coach in various chapters. There are also boxes with a suggested reflection for you to take a pause and see how you can apply this for yourself. I loved everything about this book! It’ll definitely be one I go back to for workout tips & recipes. Don’t let the workouts and Carrie’s killer bod intimidate you— every move has a way to modify it for beginners or up the ante for those who are more advanced. She also talks about derailers and how to make healthy a habit. Like she says—it’s all about getting some movement in on MOST days, but also giving yourself the space to enjoy life and be real!
