Bella Vida Styles - Book Reviews

The Girl He Used to Know  by Tracey Gravis Graves

This is gorgeously written book! I think I listened to the audiobook in the car, in the gym, shower, and while doing house chores. I finished it in just 3-4 days. Normally I save them for my car rides but Annika’s story and her quirky and lovable behavior pulled me in. What a beautiful story told about someone striving with autism! And the end, the end I didn’t see coming. It had me gasping, saying “oh wow,” and even crying! What an absolute pleasure of a story…one that stays with you once you finish it. I wish there was more of these characters to read. Thank you, Tracey Gravis Graves for a beautiful story…one that made me smile so many times! This is a story about overcoming obstacles, about societal norms, about friendship, first loves, family, surviving the unimaginable, and pulling for strength when you think you’re out of the norm.
