Lately, I find myself shopping more and more at JC Penny.
Their store has been revamped, they are carrying new brands that actually have trendy cloths. It’s no longer the store my mom would go to when I was a young teenage to find my grandma comfy PJs. I’ve kept it a secret, but lately I find that every time I wear one of my new JC Penny finds, a friend or family member compliments me on my wardrobe. I’m constantly asked where I found my cute top or pants and I find myself proudly saying JC Penny.
A couple of friends seem surprised when I say this. Their reply usually goes something like, “JC Penny? Really? I’d never find something cute like that there, you need to take me shopping with you to help me find things.” Little do they know that finding cute things there is not longer such a strange idea. With brands such as MNGO, Joe Fresh and their own line, JCP, cute, affordable stylish clothing is easy to find.
I haven’t gone shopping a while, I think since I went to JC Penny actually over the summer for some new shorts and capris. The top styles are a few of my favorite things for the Miami winter months. Working from home, makes me look for styles that I can wear to a quick meeting with my editor, while doing interviews, writing at a coffee shop, or something I can dress up on the weekends for a night out for drinks with the girls.
